Overview
Disney Newport Bay Club, which opened on 12 April 1992, is a 4-star hotel on the shores of Lake Disney. Architect Robert Stern designed it in a nautical style reminiscent of early 20th-century New England. Built in the shape of a bay around the shores of Lake Disney, the hotel has its own lighthouse. In 2014 and 2015, all rooms in the then 3-star hotel underwent a complete transformation, earning it an extra star in 2016.
The hotel has a total of 1,093 rooms, including 797 Superior Rooms, 284 Compass Club Rooms and 12 Suites, making it the largest hotel in the entire resort. Family rooms for up to six people are also available, as well as rooms with private terraces. For stunning views, Superior and Compass Club Rooms overlooking Lake Disney can also be booked.
At the Cape Cod restaurant, you can enjoy an extensive evening buffet with international cuisine and several fish specialities, while the Yacht Club restaurant offers Mediterranean dishes and specialities. The Captain's Quarters bar is open all day for refreshing cocktails and drinks.
