Overview
Disney Hotel New York, located on the shores of Lake Disney and right next to Disney Village, opened on 12 April 1992. Architect Michael Graves designed the Art Deco-style building with a number of references to The Big Apple, starting with the exterior façade, which is reminiscent of the New York skyline in the 1930s. The hotel closed its doors on 7 January 2019 and is set to reopen on 21 June 2021 with a superhero theme.
Since its reopening, the hotel has featured more than 350 Marvel-related works of art, including 50 designed exclusively for Disneyland Paris.
The hotel has a total of 561 rooms, including 471 Superior Rooms, 65 Empire State Club Rooms, 23 Marvel Suites and 2 Presidential Suites. Family rooms for up to 6 people and rooms with private terraces are also available. The Empire State Club, located on the top floors of the hotel, offers stunning views of Lake Disney.
The hotel has two restaurants and two bars. At the Downtown Restaurant, you can sample an extensive buffet featuring Asian, Italian and American cuisine, while at the Manhattan Restaurant, you can enjoy freshly prepared Italian specialities. During the day, enjoy a drink in the Bleecker Street Lounge and in the evening, head to the Skyline Bar for a Martini. With a bit of luck, you might see Spider-Man and Iron Man flying by.
