Discover the new featurette for The Marvels

Marvel Studios has rewarded the wait with a brand-new featurette for the upcoming film The Marvels. Entitled Journey to The Marvels, fans are given an exclusive glimpse into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is expected to hit cinemas worldwide on 8 November 2023.

In this captivating video, viewers are taken on a journey through the universe of The Marvels. The highlight of the featurette is the unveiling of the interaction between Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Monica Rambeau. These three powerful figures join forces to save the universe, and the dynamic between them promises a spectacular film experience.

The Story Behind The Marvels

In The Marvels, we see Carol Danvers, alias Captain Marvel, regain her identity after a fierce confrontation with the tyrannical Kree. However, unexpected consequences place a burden on her shoulders as she faces the destabilisation of the universe. The film takes viewers on an epic journey through a mysterious wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary.

Here she encounters two remarkable figures: Ms. Marvel, alias Kamala Khan, a teenage superhero from Jersey City, and Captain Monica Rambeau, a S.A.B.E.R. astronaut and Carol's estranged niece. Together they form an unlikely trio forced to work together to restore cosmic order.

Cast and crew

The film is brought to life by a talented cast, with Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Captain Monica Rambeau, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and other notable actors such as Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-Jun, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Behind the scenes, Nia DaCosta is directing, with Kevin Feige serving as producer. Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins are serving as executive producers. The screenplay is the result of a collaboration between Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.
