Take a look behind the scenes with this construction update from Disney Adventure World, where Work is in full swing on Disney Adventure World, the large-scale expansion that will welcome guests to enchanting new worlds from 2026 onwards. A team of project managers, engineers, landscape architects and designers is working with over 800 professionals to bring this ambitious project to life.
World of Frozen

The outlines of World of Frozen are becoming increasingly visible. The imposing North Mountain, which rises no less than 36 metres above the ground, forms a breathtaking new backdrop for the park. The construction of this mountain required 400 tonnes of metal, which was then covered by hand with sculpted concrete and painted. The Imagineers are paying exceptional attention to detail in everything from the texture of the seaweed and cobblestones to the lighting and construction of life-size boats. This dedication will extend to the façades of the kingdom of Arendelle, the fjord and the surrounding landscape, promising an unprecedented immersive experience in the world of Frozen. Inside the attraction Frozen Ever After Hard work is underway on the design and programming of the 34 advanced Audio-Animatronics® figures that guests will encounter during their adventure.
Adventure Way

The themed gardens of Adventure Way are taking shape thanks to an extensive landscaping project. More than 1,000 carefully selected trees from European nurseries have already been planted in the park as part of the expansion. In addition, another 100,000 shrubs and bushes will adorn this dreamlike area. The Toy Story garden recently welcomed two impressive images of Woody and Jessie, and the attraction Rapunzel Tangled Spin has received all of its vehicles, inspired by the boats from the iconic scene with the floating lanterns in the Disney animated film Tangled.
Fun fact: Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel in Tangled, has reprised her role to record various announcements for Raiponce Tangled Spin.
