Disney Animation's short film, “Once Upon A Studio,” is now available on Disney+. Featuring 543 Disney characters from more than 85 feature films and short films, the film pays tribute to ten decades of storytelling, artistic achievement, and technological advancement.
Mickey Mouse leads the reunion of beloved Disney characters in an emotional group photo in honour of Disney's 100th anniversary. The tribute can also be seen on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. The short film was written and directed by Dan Abraham and Trent Correy, and produced by Yvett Merino and Bradford Simonsen.
Disney+ kicked off the celebration earlier this year with the addition of 27 restored short classics from Walt Disney Animation Studios, featuring iconic characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip ’n Dale, and the studio's original star, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Fans can continue celebrating this milestone by streaming all their favourite films and series on Disney+, conveniently organised by decade in the “Disney100 Collection”.
